Making wine is often done in hidden sheds in distant wineries. That’s not how we do it. We like our winemaking as transparent as the big glass wall between our winery and cellar door. Hopefully we can help demystify your visit to a winery.
We’re deadly serious about respecting our fruit, so our unique facility is based around small batch, gravity flow principles (this gently-gently approach avoids vigorous mechanical pumping).
We employ handmade and natural techniques as much as possible, such as natural (rather than lab-made) fermentation yeasts and minimal use of sulphur preservatives.
Come in and taste our range of Giant Steps and Innocent Bystander wines between 10am and 6pm, have a chat to our excellent cellar door staff about them (who, incidentally, are not on commission,) and watch the progress of our next vintage through the glass.
